Our Story

ABOUT SWEET & SALTY QUEENS

The concept for Sweet & Salty Queens began in 2020 in our Astoria, Queens apartment.  For the first two years we operated as a home-processor and provided our pastries at local pop-ups, coffee shops in Brooklyn and Queens, online for delivery, and at outdoor markets across NYC. In March 2022 we made the decision to relocate ourselves and our small business to Peekskill. We currently operate out of the RYZE Collective located in Peekskill's Hat Factory.  You can find our products year round at Peekskill Coffee in northwestern Westchester, at local pop-ups and  farmers markets.    As a small business our mission is to provide a space for those that are health-conscious  and  to individuals who may have food allergies that are seeking delicious options, by offering quality and affordable  gluten free and vegan baked goods made with local ingredients.  Our long-term goal is to be a community-based resource by offering opportunities such as skills-based training and open employment.
